"Wait you did what?!" Rian's face had turned bright red, I truly believe that steam was going to explode from his ears.
"Now Rian, I didn't mean for it to happen at all." Tears began to stream down my face. "Please I beg of you don't tell Jack."
"What so I can let you lie to him and pretend like everything is perfectly fine?" Rian stood up from his seat and punched the table.
We were sitting in his house; it was empty, thank god.
"No Rian I'm not going to lie to him." I held my head in my hands shaking my head.
"Then what are you going to do?" He sat back down again.
I looked up at him again. Tears streaming down my face. I sniffed. "I, I don't know but the most I know is that I want to be the one that tells him, no one else."
Rian nodded his head. "What are we going to do with Levi? You know he'll probably tell people or worse,"
I gave him a confused look as I wiped the tears away from my eyes. "He could tell Jack before you get the chance to."
I hadn't thought about that at all.
"Come with me Rian." I stood up from my chair and made my way to the front door.
"What? Why? Where the hell are we going?" He followed me out of the house and to my car.
"To speak to Levi." I got into the drivers seat.
"Are you sure it's a good idea?" Rian asked as he sat in the passenger seat beside me.
"He sure as hell won't try anything, especially since you're going to be with me."
Rian maybe be a bit chubby but he sure can pack a punch.
"And you really think speaking to him will sort something out, I mean I don't think the guy is just going to back off with just a warning or whatever."
I started the car engine. I really didn't think of that. Levi won't back off with a warning, he's not that type of guy, he probably won't go down without some form of fight.
Worse, he could blackmail me or make a deal with him to just keep doing it with him.
I took in a deep breath as I backed the car out of driveway and began driving towards Levi's neighbourhood.
I stopped the car a few houses down from Levi's to prepare myself on what I'm going to say to him.
"Are you sure about this? You don't have to go speak to him if you don't want to." Rian said. He's been persuading me not to go and speak to Levi for the whole car journey.
I nodded my head. "I'm sure. It's been a week and a few days that I've avoided him for."
Rian didn't ask anymore questions, he just accepted my decision to talk to Levi.
We slowly walked up the street towards Levi's house. My hands were shaking, I was nervous. I feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack. I'm praying to god I don't have one now. My hands shook worse as I knocked on the door.
Rian stood closely behind me incase Levi tried something.
The door creaked open and standing there holding the door was Levi, who looked like he was either suffering from a hangover or just didn't sleep very well. When he noticed it was me, a devilish smile appeared on his face.
"Oh why hello there Alex, come back for mo-" He stopped in mid-sentence when he spotted Rian standing behind me.
"Hello there Levi." Rian said in his fake happy nice-to-see-you voice.
I gave him a fake smile as his mouth opened and closed like a cod fish. "Hey Levi."
He frowned, standing up straight to try and look more threathning to Rian. "What do you want Gaskarth?"
Wow, no one calls me buy my second name unless they have a genuine hate for me.
I handed him another fake smile as I moved up another step to get closer to him. "I wanted to warn you."
He snorted. "If you dare come anywhere near me, Rian, Zach and especially Jack it won't just be me you'll be having to deal with."
That sounded more threathning in my head than out loud. And with my height compared to him, it made it sound worse.
Levi let out a sickening laugh. "Wow Alex, you sure are scary." He sarcastically mocked me.
"Alex might be scared of fighting you but I sure as hell am not." Rian itterupted in, stepping in front of me.
Levi stood back a little closing the door ever so slightly. "You wouldn't hit me."
"Wanna bet?" Rian raised his fist to hit him, but I stopped him before he had the chance to.
"I didn't come here to fight you Levi, I came here to demand that you speak to none of us again and don't even dare thinking about blackmailing me or anyone else just so you can have some fun." I turned my back on him and began to walk down the steps of his house towards my car. Rian stayed put where he was, looked like he was about to break into a fight with Levi. "Rian are you coming?" I shouted on him.
"Yeah of course." He ran to catch up with me.
I gave Levi a sarcastic wave as I walked away, feeling his eyes watch us as we walked down the street together.
"Are you glad that that's over with?" Rian asked as I sat tapping the steering wheel.
I let out a low sigh. "Yeah I am." I whispered. Running through my head was Jack, and more reactions he would have. My eyes began to water up with tears again.
"What are we going to do now?"
"We wait," I croaked, trying to hold the tears back. I coughed. "We wait until Zach comes back, I'll tell him too."
"Then what? What about Jack?" Rian gave me a sympathetic look.
"I'll tell him, I'll tell him when we're alone," I kept my eyes on the steering wheel remembering Jack's reaction when I showed up at his house with the new car. He was so happy and so excited like he had just gotten a new puppy for christmas. "Most likely when I go over to his on a friday and we have the house to ourselves."
Every memory that I had of me and Jack together came swarming into my head.
When we first met, where I took him on our first date. That one brought back the most tears.
We went to the pizza parlour in town, I ordered his favourite pizza then afterwards we went for a walk around the park and I remember telling him that I thought the moon looked like paper that could easily be crumbled by my hand.
And that's when he kissed me underneath the stars and I felt like I was six feet under the stars.
